O Municipal Waste é uma banda de crossover thrash de Richmond, Virgínia, Estados Unidos.
A banda faz um crossover thrash, calcada no estilo hardcore punk com o thrash metal, passando por elementos de Thrashcore. No início, a banda seguia uma linha mais thrashcore, mas ao longo dos anos foi absorvendo elementos na linha do thrash metal clássico, seguindo assim com o mais fino e puro crossover. Os discos "Hazardous Mutation" e Art Of Partying foram lançado no Brasil pela Enemy One Records em 2007. Nos concertos de Municipal Waste é normal ver-se a fazer crowd surf com pranchas de bodyboard. A banda acaba de lançar seu mais recente disco Massive Agressive de 2009 mostrando mais uma vez serem muito competentes no estilo, apesar de este ser menos aclamado que os seus anteriores. O grupo passará por São Paulo em 25 de maio de 2010 para divulgar a turnê do último disco, Massive Agressive.
